Do You Think From The RIGHT Side of Your Brain or Do You Think From the LEFT?

Our brain is symmetrically divided into two major lobes, each with some 5 billion neurons on either side,
and although there are fibres that connect the two sides together, the two lobes, (also known as hemispheres), pretty much operate separately from each other.

The left hemisphere operates the right side of your body and the right hemisphere operates the left side of your body. But that doesn’t mean that if you are right handed, for example, that you automatically think with the left side of your brain. In fact, although I am ambidextrous, I am predominately right handed, but I am a very right hemisphere thinker.

So what’s the difference between the two hemispheres?

Look at the picture of the spinning Lady below to reveal how you think?

Do you know which one you are?

If she turns clockwise you are “Right Brain” thinking and if she turns anti clockwise you are “Left Brain” thinking.

If you’re able to see her turning both ways, then you’re probably more “Middle Brain” thinking.

When I look at the Spinning Lady, I see her turning clockwise quite comfortably; but I found that if I started to have analyzing thoughts while I was staring at her turning, I was then able to see her turn in the opposite direction; but as I became more aware of this change, it became more of a concentrated effort to keep her spinning in that new direction as it was more natural for me seeing her spin clockwise.
